Prof. Juan Filipe Stacul

Dr. Juan Filipe Stacul is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Goiás and serves as the Local Representative for International Relations. He holds a Ph.D. in Literature from PUC Minas and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Federal University of Viçosa. He was also a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois. His research interests include feminist criticism, men’s studies, and queer theory. His recent work focuses on contemporary Brazilian authors such as Caio Fernando Abreu and Rubem Fonseca, particularly their engagement with themes of subjectivity, gender, and alterity.
