This copyright agreement prevails and is binding to the contributing author(s): All authors retain full copyright of their articles. The research works published in the Conference Proceedings are meeting the Open Access Publishing requirements and can be freely accessed, shared, modified, distributed and used in educational, commercial and non-commercial purposes under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors grant the Conference a license to publish their article and be identified as the original publisher.

Abstract Submission Deadline

Abstract Submission Deadline: 14 November 2026
Submit the abstract before the deadline to be considered for the programme.

Review Notification

Notification of acceptance is sent by email within 7-14 days after submission.

Optional Full Paper Submission

Authors seeking full-paper publication must submit after the conference’s final day and within the following three weeks. Abstract acceptance and completed registration are required first.

A Fair Academic Review

GECONF aims to provide a respectful academic experience for every contributor. Submissions receive careful assessment and are handled in line with academic integrity and fair review standards.

Attend Without Submitting Research

A paper is not required to take part as a listener.

Submission FAQs

What should an abstract include?

Use 150-250 words to explain the aims, methods, and main findings. Add 3-5 keywords and follow the abstract template.

Is a full paper required to present?

No. An accepted abstract and completed registration are sufficient for presentation. Full-paper submission is optional.

When will the review result arrive?

Notification is emailed within 7-14 days after submission.

Can research outside the listed topics be submitted?

Yes, if it is relevant to gender equality, identity and gender studies, and other related fields. Consult the Call for Papers for the full scope.

Does acceptance confirm a presentation place?

The presentation place is confirmed only after registration and payment are complete.
