Applying to the GECONF Scientific Committee
The GECONF Scientific Committee relies on experienced academics and researchers from several subject areas. Members assess conference submissions, give authors constructive scholarly guidance, and support the quality of scholarly discussion.

Interested in Serving on the Committee?
PhD holders may apply for Scientific Committee membership if they demonstrate a suitable scholarly record and experience in academic work.
Applicants must hold the rank of Assistant Professor or above. They should be affiliated with a recognized higher education institution, university, or research organization.
Applicants need strong English proficiency. They must assess submissions without bias and through objective academic judgment. Their feedback should be constructive and follow accepted academic integrity standards.
Members generally complete three to four submission reviews each year. The schedule can be coordinated with each member’s academic and personal workload.
What Members Receive
Acknowledgment of Review Work
After each conference, members receive a certificate that acknowledges their academic service. It recognizes reviewing and other relevant committee activities.
Lower Registration Rates
Scientific Committee members qualify for registration discounts for upcoming conference editions.
International Scholarly Networking
Membership allows participants to connect with researchers, practitioners, specialists, and academics from varied regions and fields of study.
Consideration for Journal Editorial Roles
Members may also be considered for future editorial board roles in journals from partner publishers.
