Dr. Hind Elhinnawy is a Senior Lecturer in Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University whose interdisciplinary research explores questions of gender, race, religion and social justice. She is the author of Secular Muslim Feminism and editor of Shaping UK Higher Education in the Shadow of Racial Injustice. Her work spans feminist activism, decolonial scholarship, and the study of identity, resistance and social change across diverse political and cultural contexts. Bringing together scholarship, activism and lived experience, her recent research examines exile, memory and feminist activism, with a particular interest in how political commitments are carried across time and place.
